About Johnson's Diamond Eye 125ml
A gentle and mild tear stain remover and facial cleanser, Johnson's Veterinary Diamond Eye is suitable for use on dogs, cats and small pets.
Tear staining is typically the result of excess Porphyrin production, which are naturally occurring waste products from the body containing iron. Certain breeds are more prone to tear staining than others, and sudden development of tear stains in an older dog may be indicative of a problem with the pet's eyes.
In cases of serious tear staining, Tear Stain Remover may need to be used in conjunction with other methods for good results. Some of the methods that can help reduce tear staining include: Using filtered water for your pet (a Water Fountain is an easy way of providing this), feeding a high quality diet (we suggest Burns Adult Dog Food as an excellent food for reducing tear staining) and replacing plastic food bowls with Stainless Steel Bowls.
Directions: Soak an Eye Wipe with Tear Stain Remover and gently swab the affected area. Use a fresh wipe for each eye. After use, gently dab the area with an eye wipe to absorb excess moisture.
