The Pro Rep Basking Spotlamp is designed for reptiles which are active throughout the day time, creating a local light and radiant heat source to promote ideal ambient air temperature and natural basking thermo-regulatory behaviour.
Ideal for stimulating the natural environment of diurnal (awake during the day) reptiles, such as Bearded Dragons and Veiled Chameleons, to mimic the natural bright light they would appreciate in the wild.
The lamp should be mounted directly above the basking site approximately 1/3 from one end of the vivarium to create a natural temperature gradient.
