About API Stress Coat Aquarium Conditioner

Reduce stress in fish and promote the healing of wounds with API Stress Coat, a multi functional aquarium conditioning treatment that removes harmful chemicals from the water and uses the healing power of Aloe Vera to help regenerate damaged tissue.

Suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums, for tropical, temperate and coldwater fish, and for all invertebrates and aquarium plants, Stress Coat is a great store cupboard staple for any keen fish keeper.

Stress Coat acts as a dechlorinator, removing chlorine and neutralising chloramine and heavy metals in the water, without altering the biological filtration system or affecting the pH.

Great for use when adding new fish to an aquarium, handling or netting fish, starting a new aquarium or when performing regular water maintenance and cleaning procedures.

Directions: Use 1 teaspoon of Stress Coat per 10 US gallons (37.9 litres) of aquarium water. If you are using the Stress Coat as a dechlorinator to make tap water safe, you should dose enough for the amount of new water you are adding to the aquarium. If you are using the Stress Coat to help the fish recover from injury or disease, than you should use dose enough for the amount of water in the whole aquarium.
