Excel Junior & Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets are a delicious complementary food for young rabbits (from 1 week old) and dwarf rabbit breeds.
The high protein levels are ideal for the fast metabolisms of baby and dwarf breed rabbits, and Excel Nuggets contain all the essential amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, prebiotics and probiotics needed to develop and maintain healthy digestive systems.
With a high level of Beneficial Fibre (36%) and a nugget style to prevent selective feeding, Excel Junior and Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets are suitable for all rabbits between 1 week and 6 months of age, and small breeds throughout their lives.
Feeding Guide: Excel Rabbit Nuggets should only be used as a complementary part of a rabbit's diet, and should only make up around 5% of a rabbit's daily diet. 20-25g of Excel nuggets per kg of ideal bodyweight is plenty. For an average rabbit of around 3.5kg, the daily ration of nuggets should be around 80 grams, which is about 1 eggcup full. Young rabbits should be allowed to feed freely on nuggets until the age of 10 weeks old, and lactating does may need up to 280 grams of nuggets per day. Nuggets can be mixed with hay and foraging materials when feeding, or used in a treat ball, to encourage exercise whilst feeding.
