Mr Johnson's Supreme Rabbit Mix is a complementary rabbit feed, containing a mixture of steamed flaked peas, cereals, pellets, extrusions and herbs - supplying your rabbit with a tasty, healthy food in a variety of textures to encourage the natural foraging instinct.
Verm-X is added to the blend to help maintain intestinal hygiene naturally, and can help control intestinal parasites. Selective feeding can be avoided by feeding 2 small meals per day, and only providing the next meal once the bowl has been emptied.
Rabbit food, in both nugget and blend form, should only make up around 5% of a rabbit's diet. The remainder of the diet should consist of 80% hay which should be available at all times, and 15% fresh vegetables.
Feeding Guide: Mr Johnson's Supreme Rabbit Mix should only be used as a complementary part of a rabbit's diet, and should only make up around 5% of a rabbit's daily diet. 20-25g of dry food per kg of ideal bodyweight is plenty. For an average rabbit of around 3.5kg, the daily ration of mix should be around 80 grams, which is about 1 eggcup full. Foraging and natural behaviours when eating can be encouraged by using a Snack Ball, which your rabbit will push around while food slowly trickles out.
