Ingredients: Huang Qin (Scutellaria baicalensis), Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis), Nettle (Urtica dioica):
Huang Qin is a flavenoid that appears to inhibit histamine release from mast cells, leading to a reduction in symptoms of hay fever, asthma, atopic eczema and food allergies. Alongside the inhibition of histamine release, Huang Qin appears to inhibit the release of inflammatory leukotriens and prostoglandins, exerting an anti-inflammatory effect. The effective antioxidant properties of Huang Qin help to reduce inflammation by reducing the presence of detrimental free radicals.
Ginkgo is well known for its effect on brain function and circulation, inhibiting platelet activating factor which is a major chemical trigger in allergies, asthma and inflammation, while being rich in flavenoids.
Eyebright helps to reduce conjunctivitis through antihistamine and anti-inflammatory effects on the eyes, nose and sinuses.
Nettle is a traditional remedy for reduction of the effects of allergic reaction.
