My cat loves this stuff: she demands it on her food quite often. She doesn't have any issues with fur balls but may suffer from constipation now and again and this really helps.

This product made a Huge Difference in the endless pile of Hairballs . All I have to do is keep 2 tiny plates out for them and they all go to it.
