What do I do if I cannot find the product that I am looking for, or it is out of stock?

We can point you in the direction of the item if it is available, try to source it for you if it is something we do not presently sell or advise you on when we expect the item to be back in stock. What does it mean if the product that I want to buy is backorderable?

If you buy an item that is marked as Backorderable, it will normally be dispatched to you within 3 working days of your order being placed. This may result in your order been sent in more than one consignment. If there is likely to be any further delay, we will contact you as soon as possible. How long will my order take to be delivered?

Deliveries to the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (Except deliveries to the Republic of Ireland weighing less than 800g costing £2.59 postage – these may take up to 10 working days) should arrive within 3-5 working days. What are my options for returning an item that I have bought online?

If an item is damaged, faulty of supplied in error, we will offer a full refund or an exchange and will cover the cost of postage.

If an item is ordered in error, it can be returned to us for a full refund, however the cost of return postage is not refundable.

Please note, we cannot accept returns of the following: personalised products, such as ID tags, made-to-measure products, opened food and veterinary medicines, including flea and worm treatments.

What should I do if I wish to rehome a kitten from Pet Connection?

If you would like to rehome a kitten from Pet Connection, please call our Dublin Road store directly on (+44) 28 3083 4858 and we will either be able to tell you about the kittens currently in the store to be rehomed, or take your details and add you to our waiting list to be contacted when we do have kittens available for rehoming. ‘Kitten Season’ is usually between April and September, and we will have kittens in the store most days during this period.

We want to give the kittens that we rehome the best possible start in life, therefore we routinely provide them with flea and worm treatment as soon as they come in to our care. We also insist that each kitten rehomed with us leaves with food that has been specially formulated for kittens, therefore to cover the costs of the treatments and the first bag of food, we do have a charge of £10.99 for each kitten rehomed. We also ask adopters to neuter their kittens before they reach the age of 6 months.

 
What should I do if I have kittens that I would like to have rehomed by Pet Connection?

If you have kittens that need to be rehomed, please phone our Dublin Road store directly on (+44) 28 3083 4858. We are able to take kittens in from 8 weeks old, as long as they are healthy, tame and have been well handled.

Demand for rehoming is very high during ‘Kitten Season’, which is between April and September, therefore we may need to take your details and details of the kittens that you are looking to rehome and add you to our waiting list. We can sometimes take kittens as soon as they turn 8 weeks old, however in other cases there may be a delay of a couple of weeks before we are able to take them in.
