The Canny Collar can safely be used with a basket muzzle, such as the Baskerville Muzzle. Canny Collars will not work on extremely brachycephalic breeds, as the lead must be able to go around the dog's nose. Extendable leads and long lines should never be used with a head collar on a dog.

To ensure the Canny Collar is a correct fit for your dog, measure around your dog's neck, just behind the ears. If your dog's neck measurement falls exactly between two sizes, choose the smaller size to ensure a good fit.
