About ProRep Desert Sand Substrate 5kg



A fine, silica based sand, Pro Rep Desert Sand is an ideal substrate for reptile species that originate from dry environments, such as Bearded Dragons.

Completely natural, the sand can be used to create an attractive landscaped environment within the enclosure of pets who originate from desert and arid climates.

The sand is carefully washed before packaging to ensure it is free from contaminants and heavy metals which may be detrimental to pets.

To create areas of higher humidity, such as under hides, the sand can be dampened without the risk of rotting.
