Description
Formulated to relieve aural irritation in cats and dogs of all sizes, Johnson's Ear Drops soften wax, assist healing and can be used in the treatment of ear mites.
Containing a natural Pyrethum to kill ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), the drops can be used to treat infestations which cause mild scratching or shaking, and to control waxy debris in one or both of the pet's ears.
To help dissolve wax build-ups, we recommend using the drops in conjunction with Beaphar Ear Cleaner for optimal results.
Directions
Before you buy Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On, you'll need to know the weight and age of your dog so you can select the correct flea treatment. Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On is suitable dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age and is available in four sizes.
Before use, hold the bottle in your hand for a few minutes to bring the liquid to a more tolerable temperature for your pet. Shake bottle, hold above the ear and very gently squeeze the correct dosage for your pet into the ear. Hold the pet's head to one side for 15-20 seconds to allow the drops to penetrate the ear canal, massaging the base of the ear before allowing the animal to shake it's head. Always treat both ears, even if only one ear is showing signs of irritation or infestation. To ensure complete clearance of mites, a second course of treatment should be given one week after the first dosage. Any discharge on the outer surface of the ears can be gently wiped away with Ear Wipes.
Warning
If signs or symptoms persist or worsen, consult a Veterinary Surgeon immediately. Never probe inside the ears as this can cause pain and injury. Do not use on puppies or kittens less than 12 weeks of age.
Active Ingredient: Pyrethrum Pale Extract (25%) 0.40w/v (equivalent to Pyrethrins 0.10w/v), Piperonyl Butoxide 1.00%w/v.
