For the treatment to last, it is recommended that these are used on your cats every 3 months. The product goes directly onto your cats skin at the back of their neck so that they can not lick it off. If your cat does manage to lick some of the treatment, it will taste very bitter to them and cause an excess of salvia, this will clear up after a few minutes. If you are concerned please contact your vet. A slight reaction can appear after using this treatment, this is normal. However, if you are concerned, please speak to your vet.

Never administer this treatment onto your cats eyes ears or in their mouths and do not allow any other pet to groom an animal that has recently been treated with this solution. Do not pet your cat for up to an hour after administrating, as this is the typical absorption time. Always wash your hands after using this treatment. If you get any of the solution on your hands, then be sure to scrub your hands well with soap and water as it can irritate your skin and eyes.
