Ingredients: Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea), Elderberry (Sambucus nigra), Cats Claw (Uncaria tormentosa), Astragulus (Astragulus membronosis).

Echinacea is known for its ability to stimulate immune system and exert a direct antibacterial and antiviral action. An antifungal action is due to the ability of echinacea to enhance macrophage phagocytosis.

Elderberry has a direct action on the DNA of viruses, switching off the production of enzymes used by the virus to break down cell walls in the body and preventing entry of the virus into the cells.

Cats Claw is made from a South American vine which has claw like hooks to allow the plant to climb. Traditionally used as a 'cure all', research has indicated an ability to enhance the immune system while alkaloids and polysaccharides in the herb increase phagocytosis.

Astragulus is known as Huang Qi in Chinese herbal medicine and is well known for supporting the liver, boosting the immune system and reducing symptoms of chronic fatigue.

Contra-indications: Avoid during pregnancy. If in any doubt always consult your vet.

Essential Fatty Acids can also be added to your pet's diet in the form of blends with an ideal ratio of Omega 3, 6 & 9. This balance can be provided by the addition of Salmon Oil, Flax Oil or Cod Liver Oil.
