The Beaphar CatComfort Calming Diffuser is the perfect way to help reduce stress related problematic behaviour in your cat.
Cats can be very sensitive when changes happen within their environment, these changes could range from moving house or buying new furniture. Signs of stress include hiding away more than usual, inappropriate urination and scratching, being hesitant and less tolerant towards people, over or under eating, increased fear and a more disturbed sleep. This diffuser releases a solution that is similar to the naturally produced Feline Facial Pheromone, which cats will recognise and make them feel safe.
This diffuser should be used with the Beaphar CatComfort Calming Refills. The easy to use plug in diffuser can be placed in any area of the house, and is effective for up to 30 days with continual use before needing a refill. Ideally placed in the room where your cat spends most of its time, the diffuser is effective in an area up to 70m². Diffusers must not be covered, placed behind a door, underneath furniture, near frequently used windows or air conditioning units.
After 24 hours, the pheromones will have diffused throughout the room where you have connected the diffuser. The effects of the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Diffuser on the behaviour of your cat usually appear during the first week of use. However, each cat is unique and the first signs of improvement can appear later, depending on how sensitive your cat is to pheromones and changes in their environment. We recommend using the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Diffuser for at least a month to fully appreciate the effect of this product.
