TRIXIE Polyrattan Front Dog Bike Basket

Take your small pet on outdoor adventures comfortably and safely with the premium TRIXIE Front Dog Bike Basket. Designed specifically for miniature and toy dog breeds weighing up to 5 kg, this handlebar-mounting bicycle basket offers a secure, highly ventilated, and protected vantage point at the front of your bike.

Crafted from high-quality, weather-resistant grey polyrattan, this durable pet carrier is engineered to withstand the elements while maintaining a classic, stylish aesthetic. To prevent accidental jumps and keep your pet secure on the road, the basket is fitted with a robust, plastic-coated wire mesh dome cover. This protective wire cage ensures exceptional 360° air circulation so your pup stays cool and relaxed, even on warm summer rides.

Inside, your pet will enjoy ultimate comfort thanks to the included plush grey cushion. This soft cushion provides a smooth ride against bumps in the road and is easily removable for quick hand washing. Thoroughly tested and approved by an independent specialist body for animal welfare, you can ride with absolute peace of mind knowing your dog's safety and comfort are guaranteed across Ireland & UK.

Spare Part for Old Model of this Trixie Bicycle Basket

This version of the basket is the newer version from Trixie. Previously, this basket was attached through two hooks on the basket. If you have the older version and need to replace the attachment part for the bicycle, TRIXIE Replacement Handlebar Holder (Item No. TX13107-20) is the correct part for you.

By installing a second bracket on another bike, you can easily click and secure the basket back and forth between two handlebars in seconds—no tools required once the brackets are set up. Perfect for couples or families who like to take turns carrying their pup, this sturdy metal and black plastic bracket ensures a rock-solid, vibration-free hold so your companion stays completely secure on whoever's bike they are riding.

Important Information

Please pay attention to the maximum load capacity of the bicycle basket. Acquaint the dog with the basket before your first trip and allow sufficient time for this. If necessary, practice riding the bike with the basket but without your pet beforehand, placing a comparable weight in the basket to get used to the changed steering behaviour. Hold your bike firmly while putting your pet into the basket or taking it out, as using a bicycle stand carries the danger that your bike could fall over with your pet. Do not leave your pet unattended in the basket.
