Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I use this slicker brush?

For long, curly, or double-coated breeds, daily brushing is highly recommended to prevent severe tangles and manage shedding. For wire-haired breeds, a thorough brushing two to three times a week is usually sufficient to maintain coat health.

Will the stainless steel pins scratch my dog's skin?

No. While the pins are made from durable stainless steel to penetrate thick fur, they are specially curved and designed to be a "soft slicker." When used with a gentle, pulling motion (rather than dragging down hard into the skin), it provides a comfortable, soothing massage.
