Wooden Dog Kennel | Flatpack | Outdoor Shelter with Flap

Wooden Dog Kennel | Flatpack | Outdoor Shelter with Flap

Provide your cherished canine companion with a secure, comfortable, and weather-protected outdoor haven with this thoughtfully designed Wooden Dog Kennel, now featuring a practical access flap! Crafted with a high-quality natural wood finish, this kennel offers both practicality and style, making it a handsome addition to any garden across Ireland & UK.

Built to withstand changing seasonal weather, this sturdy outdoor shelter provides reliable protection year-round. The roof is intelligently engineered with a gentle slope to ensure efficient water drainage and covered with heavy-duty green mineral felt for superior weatherproofing. To ensure long-lasting durability and your dog's complete safety, the timber is pre-treated with an animal-safe, non-toxic wood preservative. The added flexible door flap acts as an insulating barrier that helps retain warmth inside while shielding your pet from cold drafts, wind, and rain, while still allowing easy entry and exit.

Key Benefits

• All-Weather Protection & Insulation: Sloping mineral felt roof sheds rainwater efficiently, while the included door flap keeps out wind and rain and retains internal heat.

• Flexible Weather Flap: Durable, clear strip door flap allows easy passage for your dog while keeping driving rain and cold breezes out.

• Animal-Safe Preservative: Treated with a non-toxic wood coating that protects the timber against damp and rot without harming your pet.

• Elevated & Comfortable: Keeps your dog off the cold ground for improved air circulation and thermal insulation.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Is this kennel suitable for all weather conditions? Yes, the sloping weatherproofed felt roof, treated timber, and fitted door flap provide excellent year-round protection against rain, driving wind, and cold weather, ensuring a cosy shelter for your dog.

• How does the door flap help keep my dog warm? The flexible door flap seals the main entryway when your dog is inside, preventing wind and rain from blowing in while trapping their body heat inside the kennel for superior insulation.

• Why is there an additional shipping fee for the Extra Large size? The Extra Large kennel exceeds standard courier parcel weight and size limits. Because it requires heavy-goods freight transport handling, a double courier charge is applied to ensure safe, damage-free delivery to your door.

• Can I collect this pre-assembled in-store? Yes! You can collect your kennel fully built directly from our Newry store at no extra charge, or order before 4 PM Monday to Friday for fast same-day dispatch to Ireland & UK.

• Is the wood treatment safe for animals? Yes, 100%. We exclusively use an animal-safe, eco-friendly wood preservative that protects the timber against dampness without posing any harm to your pet.

• How do I choose the right size for my dog? We recommend measuring your dog while they are standing up and lying down. The kennel should be large enough for your dog to comfortably enter, stand up, turn around, and lie down freely. Allow a few extra inches for added comfort and bedding, and ensure the door opening is comfortable for them to pass through.
