Exo Terra Reptile UVB100 T5 VHO 8W 12"

 Exo Terra Reptile UVB100 T5 VHO – 8W, 12"

Exo Terra Reptile UVB100 T5 VHO is a Very High Output (VHO) T5 UVB and UVA fluorescent tube designed to replicate key parts of natural sunlight inside reptile and amphibian enclosures. Crafted in Germany to high quality standards, it delivers consistent UVB and UVA radiation for 12+ months, helping your animals thrive. The balanced spectrum supports Vitamin D3 synthesis and calcium absorption, which are critical for healthy bone development and metabolism, and the UVA component encourages natural behaviours like appetite, activity, and reproduction. Compared to older T8 bulbs, it offers stronger UV output with better penetration, making it especially useful in taller terrariums or enclosures with dense screens. This version (UVB100 with ~3% UVB) is best for shade-dwelling, nocturnal or crepuscular species and environments that mimic low-light habitats.
