Gentle Leader | Dog Walking | No Pull Headcollar - Red

Gentle Leader | Dog Walking | No Pull Headcollar - Red

Help your dog learn better leash manners naturally with the Gentle Leader No Pull Dog Walking Headcollar. Scientifically designed by a leading animal behaviorist, this trusted headcollar works with your dog's natural instincts to prevent pulling, lunging, and unwanted lead-trailing behavior across Ireland & UK.

Unlike traditional neck collars that can put dangerous pressure on your dog's throat, the Gentle Leader features a unique two-point control system: a gentle nose loop redirects the head (so the body naturally follows), while the upper strap rests comfortably behind the neck. This design immediately counters the opposition reflex, giving you calm, stress-free control without choking or harsh corrections. Fully adjustable for a safe and secure fit, it allows your dog to pant, yawn, eat, and drink freely while still ensuring you stay in total control on every walk.

Key Features

• Scientifically Designed: Developed by veterinary behaviorists to gently stop pulling and improve walking control.

• Kind & Humane: Applies pressure at the back of the neck rather than the throat, completely eliminating gagging and choking.

• Natural Control: Redirects forward motion through the nose loop, making even strong pullers easy to walk.

• Full Mobility: Unlike muzzle restrictions, it allows dogs to open their mouths to pant, eat, drink, and play.

• Fully Adjustable: Features a custom-fit nose band and neck strap for a secure, comfortable fit.

FAQs

• What are your delivery and collection options? We offer fast delivery across Ireland & UK, with orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday dispatched the same day. You can also choose to collect your order in-store at PetConnection Newry.

• Will this muzzle my dog? No! The Gentle Leader is a headcollar, not a muzzle. Your dog will still be able to open their mouth freely to pant, yawn, drink water, and take treats.

• How does it stop pulling? It works using the same principle as a horse halter. Because where the head goes, the body follows, gently guiding the dog's head redirects their forward momentum without a struggle.

• What size do I need?

  • Small: Suitable for smaller breeds like Terriers, Jack Russells, and Miniature Poodles.

  • Medium: Ideal for Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, Border Collies, and similar medium breeds.

  • Large: Perfect for larger dogs like Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Boxers.
