Description

The Ergo Flea Comb is an ideal tool for identifying flea infestations, and removing fleas and flea eggs from your pet's coat.

The tough stainless steel teeth trap fleas and locate tangles, allowing you to remove matts with a Knot Buster.

The comb is ideal for general grooming of more sensitive areas, such as around your pet's face and ears.

The 15mm long teeth are rounded at the ends to prevent discomfort for your pet during grooming sessions, and are highly polished to create a smooth low friction surface to help the comb glide through the coat.

This brush can be used on all coat types: Wire, Long, Curly, Double and Smooth.

Directions

To detect fleas on your pet's coat, begin by brushing your pet's coat with an appropriate brush to remove any matting and old undercoat. Place a large sheet of paper under your pet so fleas and eggs can quickly be detected if removed by the comb. Comb gently and systematically, remembering that fleas enjoy areas with thicker hair coverage.

In the case of tick bites and infestation on pets, prevention is always better than cure. We recommend applying a Spot On treatment such as Fiprotec which protects against both fleas and ticks. Even a single bite from a tick can spread tick borne disease to your pet. Check your pet regularly for fleas, ticks and other parasites, preferably as part of your daily grooming and dental care routine.
