About Beaphar Fluoride Free Liver Toothpaste 100g

Beaphar Toothpaste promotes oral health by counteracting plaque and preventing the formation of tartar, all in a tasty liver flavoured formula that cats and dogs love.

The unique formula is fluoride free and contains two enzymes to improve dental health and hygiene. Protease destroys the protein structure of plaque before it binds with calcium to form tartar, while Glucose Oxidase converts glucose into the harmless gluconic acid. The enzymatic process produces a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, an antibacterial agent which will help to improve hygiene.

Directions: Introduce tooth brushing to your pet slowly and patiently, with plenty of rewards for good behaviour. When your pet is used to having their mouth touched, wet the brush and apply a small amount of toothpaste. Gently brush a few teeth at a time, building up the amount of time spent brushing daily until your pet is comfortable with dental care being part of your daily grooming routine.
