Goldfish, especially common varieties, can grow quite large (up to a foot long!) and produce a significant amount of waste. Bowls often lack the necessary surface area for proper oxygen exchange and make it difficult to maintain stable water parameters, leading to poor water quality, stunted growth, and health issues for your fish.

For the long-term health and happiness of your goldfish, we strongly recommend upgrading to a larger aquarium (minimum 20-30 gallons for one goldfish, with an additional 10 gallons per extra fish) with proper filtration and aeration as soon as possible.
