Dosage and Administration

Always consult the product label or your veterinarian for the most accurate dosage information.

Here's a general guide:

  • Routine treatment of adult dogs and cats: A single dose at a rate of 100mg/kg bodyweight, which is equivalent to 1ml per 1kg bodyweight.
  • Weaned puppies and kittens under six months of age and lungworm in cats: A single dose for three consecutive days at a rate of 50mg/kg bodyweight, which is equivalent to 1ml per 2kg bodyweight.
  • Puppies: For optimal parasite control, puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age, 5 weeks of age, and again before leaving to go to their new home.  Treatment may also be required at 8 weeks and 12 weeks of age. Thereafter, consult your veterinarian about the frequency of treatment based on your pet's lifestyle and risk factors.
  • Pregnant bitches: 1ml per 4kg bodyweight daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously for approximately 25 days. This is equivalent to 25mg Fenbendazole/kg bodyweight daily.

Important Information

  • Parazole is for use in dogs and cats only.
  • Consult your veterinarian before using Parazole on pregnant, lactating, or sick animals.
  • Keep Parazole out of the reach of children and pets.

Regular treatment is advisable to prevent infection of children by the larvae of ascarids of dogs and cats. Always practice good hygiene around pets to minimize this risk.
