FAQs

What is the Happy Pet Christmas Pudding Small Animal Hideaway?

It is a soft fabric sleeping and hiding space for small pets, designed to resemble a traditional Christmas pudding complete with white icing, holly leaves and a red berry.

How big is the Christmas Pudding Hideaway?

The hideaway measures approximately 18cm high x 12cm wide x 12cm deep.

Which small animals can use it?

Suitability depends on the size of the individual animal and, importantly, the size of the entrance. Check that your pet can comfortably enter and leave before use rather than relying on species alone.

Why do small animals need hideaways?

Many small animals naturally seek out sheltered areas for resting and sleeping. Providing appropriate hiding places can give them somewhere private to retreat within their enclosure.

Can my pet chew the Christmas Pudding Hideaway?

This is a fabric hideaway rather than a chew toy. Check it frequently if your pet is inclined to chew fabric and remove it if the material, stitching or filling becomes damaged or accessible.

Can it be used all year?

Yes, although the Christmas pudding design makes it particularly suited to the festive season. There is no reason it cannot continue to be used afterwards provided it remains clean, intact and suitable for your pet.

Safety Advice

Check the hideaway regularly for chewing, loose threads and other damage. Remove it if the fabric or seams become damaged or internal filling becomes accessible. Ensure the entrance remains unobstructed and that the hideaway is appropriately sized for your individual pet.
