Make Christmas playtime even more entertaining with the Happy Pet Jumbo Tommy Turkey Plush Dog Toy. This oversized festive turkey is packed with character, combining a wonderfully chunky plush body, enormous colourful tail, soft wings and dangling rope legs with a built-in squeaker for dogs who love noisy, interactive toys.

A Jumbo Christmas Toy That Really Stands Out

Some Christmas dog toys disappear underneath the tree. Jumbo Tommy Turkey is unlikely to be one of them.

Measuring approximately 45cm high and an impressive 46cm wide, Tommy is a substantial plush toy with a large, rounded body and an oversized fan-shaped tail.

That generous size makes him particularly fun for dogs who enjoy picking up and carrying large toys, shaking plushies around or settling down with something soft after playtime.

He also makes a brilliant centrepiece for a dog’s Christmas present pile.

Built-In Squeaker for More Engaging Play

Hidden inside Jumbo Tommy is a squeaker that rewards your dog with a noise when the toy is squeezed during play.

For dogs who are particularly motivated by sound, the squeaker can make carrying, pawing and playing with the toy even more exciting.

The combination of sound, soft plush and rope gives Tommy more variety than a basic stuffed dog toy.

Plush Body with Different Textures

Jumbo Tommy isn’t made from just one flat plush material.

His large brown body has a wonderfully textured finish, contrasted with softer plush wings, a long neck, bright facial details and a large padded orange tail.

These different surfaces give dogs a variety of textures to investigate and make the toy more interesting to grab and carry.

Rope Legs with Knotted Feet

Two chunky rope legs hang from Tommy’s body, ending in knotted feet with tasselled rope ends.

The rope gives dogs another convenient place to grab the toy when playing, carrying or shaking it and adds a completely different texture from the soft plush body.

Although Tommy includes rope components, he is not a dedicated heavy-duty rope or tug toy. The rope legs should not be allowed to become a prolonged chewing target.

Huge Colourful Turkey Tail

One of Jumbo Tommy’s most distinctive features is his large orange fan-shaped tail.

Rather than simply printing a turkey design onto an ordinary plush toy, Happy Pet has given Tommy a substantial three-dimensional tail that creates his unmistakable turkey silhouette and helps make him look particularly impressive.

At around 46cm across the toy, Jumbo Tommy has plenty of presence.

A Fun Christmas Present for Dogs

Turkey is firmly associated with Christmas dinner in Ireland and the UK, making Tommy a particularly fitting character for your dog’s festive toy collection.

Whether he’s waiting under the Christmas tree, added to a dog’s stocking or given as a December treat, Jumbo Tommy offers something a little more substantial than the usual small festive squeaky toy.

And unlike the Christmas turkey on your plate, this one is specifically for the dog.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the Jumbo Tommy Turkey Dog Toy?

Jumbo Tommy measures approximately 45cm high x 46cm wide x 20cm deep.

This makes him a particularly large plush dog toy and noticeably bigger than the standard Tommy Turkey.

Does Jumbo Tommy Turkey squeak?

Yes. Jumbo Tommy has a built-in squeaker, adding sound and extra interest when your dog squeezes the toy during play.

Is Jumbo Tommy suitable for large dogs?

His generous 45 x 46 x 20cm dimensions make him a particularly appealing option for medium and large dogs who prefer substantial plush toys.

Toy suitability still depends on the individual dog's mouth size, strength and play style rather than breed or body size alone.

Can a small dog have Jumbo Tommy Turkey?

Yes, provided the individual dog can safely interact with the toy. Some smaller dogs particularly enjoy dragging, wrestling with or sleeping beside oversized plush toys.

The toy may simply be considerably bigger in proportion to a small dog.

Does Jumbo Tommy have rope legs?

Yes. Tommy has dangling rope legs with chunky knotted feet, providing an additional texture and convenient areas for dogs to grab during play.

Is Jumbo Tommy a tug toy?

The rope components can provide convenient grabbing points during gentle interactive play, but Jumbo Tommy is primarily a plush squeaky dog toy, not a heavy-duty tug toy.

Vigorous tugging or prolonged chewing could damage the plush body or rope components.

Is this toy suitable for strong chewers?

Jumbo Tommy is not designed as a heavy-duty chew toy and is not indestructible.

If your dog typically destroys plush toys quickly, close supervision is particularly important. A purpose-designed durable chew toy may be more appropriate for unsupervised chewing activities.

Is the turkey design suitable for Christmas?

Absolutely. Turkey is a traditional part of Christmas dinner in Ireland and the UK, and Tommy’s colourful scarf and cheerful design make him a fun addition to a dog’s Christmas presents.

Can dogs cuddle with Jumbo Tommy?

Dogs who enjoy soft toys may love settling down with Jumbo Tommy. His oversized plush construction makes him particularly substantial as a comfort or cuddle toy, provided your dog can safely have plush toys without destroying or eating them.

What is the difference between Tommy Turkey and Jumbo Tommy Turkey?

The biggest difference is size. Jumbo Tommy measures approximately 45 x 46 x 20cm, making him the oversized option for dogs who enjoy particularly large plush toys.
