Three Sizes Available

One of the best features of the Happy Pet Festive Sonic range is the choice of three sizes.

The dog examples above are only a general guide. Choose a toy that is appropriately sized for your individual dog's mouth, play style and behaviour.

Sonic Gets a Christmas Makeover

This isn't ordinary Sonic – he's ready for Christmas.

The familiar blue character retains his instantly recognisable spiky head, large eyes, white gloves, tan detailing and bright red shoes, while a plush red and white Santa hat transforms him into a festive addition to your dog's Christmas toy collection.

It's a particularly fun choice if Sonic has been part of your own childhood and you now want your dog involved in the nostalgia too.

Soft Plush Construction

The soft fabric construction makes this Sonic toy ideal for dogs that enjoy picking up and carrying plush characters around the house.

The character's projecting arms and legs also give dogs several areas to grab during play, while the larger sizes offer a satisfyingly substantial toy for dogs that enjoy carrying bigger plushies.

After playtime, the soft construction also makes Sonic suitable for dogs that like to settle down with their favourite toy.

Which Size Sonic Dog Toy Should I Buy?

Choose primarily according to the size and play style of your dog.

6" / approximately 15cm: The smallest Sonic in the range. A good option for smaller mouths and dogs that prefer compact toys.

9" / approximately 23cm: The middle size and a versatile choice for many small and medium-sized dogs.

14" / approximately 35cm: The jumbo option. Ideal for dogs that enjoy carrying and playing with larger plush toys, and an impressive present to put under the Christmas tree.

When in doubt, avoid choosing a toy that is small enough for your dog to attempt to swallow whole.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes does the Happy Pet Sonic the Hedgehog Christmas Dog Toy come in?

There are three sizes: 6" (approximately 15cm), 9" (approximately 23cm) and 14" (approximately 35cm).

Is this Sonic toy made for dogs?

Yes. This Happy Pet Sonic the Hedgehog® product is a plush dog toy rather than a children's soft toy.

What makes it a Christmas Sonic dog toy?

Sonic is wearing a festive red Santa hat with white trim, giving the classic character a Christmas makeover.

Which size is best for a small dog?

The 6" / approximately 15cm version is the smallest option and is likely to be the most manageable for many small dogs. Always consider your individual dog's mouth size and play style.

Which is the biggest Sonic dog toy?

The 14" version, measuring approximately 35cm, is the largest of the three.

Is the Sonic dog toy suitable for puppies?

It may be suitable for puppies when an appropriately sized version is selected and play is supervised. Puppies that are actively teething or inclined to destroy soft toys should be monitored particularly carefully.

Is this suitable for aggressive chewers?

This is a plush character toy rather than a heavy-duty chew toy. It would not be our first choice for a dog whose main aim is to tear apart soft toys.

Would this make a good Christmas present for a dog?

Yes. The Santa hat and instantly recognisable Sonic design make it a particularly fun Christmas gift for a dog, especially in a household of Sonic the Hedgehog fans.

Safety Information

Always supervise your dog during play. No dog toy is indestructible. Check the toy regularly for damage and remove it if it becomes torn or if stuffing, fabric or other components become loose.

Select a size appropriate for your dog's size and play style.
