Three Christmas Puddings in One Toy

Why give your dog one Christmas pudding when they can have three?

The String of Puds features three round plush pudding characters positioned along the rope, each decorated to look like a traditional Christmas pud.

The rich brown plush contrasts with fluffy white topping, bright red berries and green holly leaves, giving the toy an unmistakably festive appearance.

Tiny facial details add plenty of character without taking away from the classic Christmas pudding design.

Plush & Rope Textures

This toy combines two very different textures in one design.

The soft, fluffy Christmas puddings provide plush sections for dogs to grab, while the twisted rope running through the toy provides a firmer texture and additional holding points.

The rope is knotted towards either end and finished with chunky tassels, giving the whole toy a traditional rope-toy feel.

A Generous 56cm Long

The complete toy measures approximately:

Length: 56cm
Width: 8cm

Its long shape provides several different areas for your dog to pick up. They can grab one of the plush puddings, take hold of the exposed rope between them or carry the toy from one of the rope ends.

That makes it an interesting alternative to a conventional single-piece plush Christmas dog toy.

Great for Carrying, Shaking & Interactive Play

The combination of a long rope and multiple plush sections makes the String of Puds particularly well suited to dogs who enjoy toys they can pick up and shake.

The exposed rope between each pudding also provides convenient grabbing points during supervised games between dog and owner.

While the rope construction makes interactive play possible, this is a festive plush and rope toy rather than a dedicated heavy-duty tug toy, so vigorous tugging should be avoided.

A Christmas Pudding Your Dog Can Actually Have

Christmas pudding itself isn't a suitable treat for dogs — traditional recipes can contain ingredients such as raisins, currants and alcohol that dogs should not eat.

This plush version lets them join in with the Christmas pudding tradition without getting anywhere near the real dessert.

It's a particularly fun choice for:

• Christmas presents for dogs
• Dog Christmas stockings
• Festive hampers
• December toy boxes
• Christmas morning play
• Dogs who enjoy long rope and plush toys

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the Happy Pet String of Puds Dog Toy?

The complete toy measures approximately 56cm long x 8cm wide.

How many Christmas puddings are on the toy?

There are three plush Christmas pudding characters positioned along the rope.

Is this a plush toy or a rope toy?

It's a combination of both. The toy has three soft plush Christmas pudding characters with a twisted rope running through the design.

Can dogs play tug with the String of Puds?

It can be used for gentle, supervised interactive play, but it isn't described as a heavy-duty tug toy.

Avoid vigorous tugging that could damage the plush sections or rope.

Is this suitable for strong chewers?

The Happy Pet String of Puds is not intended as a heavy-duty chew toy.

If your dog tends to deliberately dismantle plush or rope toys, supervise them particularly closely and remove the toy if it becomes damaged.

Can my dog chew the rope?

Dogs may naturally mouth the rope during play, but they shouldn't be allowed to pull off or swallow rope fibres.

Check the rope regularly for excessive fraying.

Are the Christmas puddings edible?

No. The puddings are plush toy characters and are not edible.

In fact, real Christmas pudding should not be shared with dogs. Traditional Christmas puddings commonly contain dried grapes such as raisins and currants, which can be toxic to dogs.

Does the Happy Pet String of Puds squeak?

A squeaker has not been confirmed for this toy, so we have not described it as a squeaky dog toy.

Important Safety Information

Always supervise your dog while playing with toys.

Regularly inspect the plush puddings, seams, rope, knots and tasselled ends. Remove the toy if the fabric becomes torn, the rope becomes significantly frayed or any stuffing or internal components become exposed.

Do not allow your dog to swallow rope fibres, fabric, stuffing or detached pieces.

No dog toy is indestructible.
