Why Choose a Shock Absorbing Lead?

Dogs can suddenly reach the end of a conventional lead when they accelerate, change direction or pull towards something interesting. The elasticated shock-absorbing section of this lead is designed to provide some give during these sudden movements rather than transferring the entire jolt directly through a rigid lead.

This can make walking more comfortable for the handler while still maintaining a secure connection to the dog.

The shock absorber is not intended as a substitute for appropriate lead training or handling, particularly with powerful dogs.
