Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove my bird from the cage before spraying?

Yes. While the product is designed to be completely safe for avian environments, you should always temporarily remove your bird from the cage or aviary before spraying to avoid irritating their sensitive respiratory systems with the aerosolised mist. Allow the cage to dry before placing them back inside.

Can I use this to clean my parrot's food and water bowls?

Absolutely. It is excellent for sanitising feeding equipment. Just spray the bowls, scrub away any hardened food or biofilm, and then be sure to rinse them thoroughly with clean, fresh water before refilling them with food or drinking water.

Will this stain my carpet if I use it to clean up droppings?

Clean 'n' Safe is formulated to be used safely on carpets and soft furnishings to clean up messes around the base of the cage. However, as with any cleaning product, we always recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first.
