KONG Holiday Knot Belly Hippo Blue Medium/Large – Christmas Dog Toy

Give your dog a cuddly Christmas companion with the KONG Holiday Knot Belly Hippo, a wonderfully soft festive dog toy with a clever internal knotted rope construction hidden beneath its plush exterior.

This cheerful blue hippo is dressed for Christmas with a festive red patterned scarf and contrasting red paws. Inside, KONG's knotted rope design provides an interesting texture that helps satisfy dogs' natural chewing and tugging instincts, while the soft plush exterior makes the hippo equally suited to carrying and snuggling.

A built-in squeaker adds extra excitement and encourages dogs to keep playing. The combination of a soft, rounded body and internal rope makes this a great choice for dogs who enjoy plush toys but appreciate something a little more substantial to grab and chew.

Why Choose a KONG Knots Toy?

KONG Knots toys combine the appeal of a traditional soft toy with an internal knotted rope structure. The rope gives dogs an additional chewing texture beneath the plush exterior while helping give the toy structure.

The soft outer material also means the Holiday Knot Belly Hippo can double as a comfortable companion for dogs that enjoy carrying or sleeping with their favourite toys.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the KONG Holiday Hippo squeak?

Yes. It contains a built-in squeaker to help keep dogs interested and encourage play.

Is there rope inside the toy?

Yes. The Hippo features KONG's internal knotted rope construction, providing an additional texture for dogs to explore while chewing.

What size is it?

This is the Medium/Large version and measures approximately 26 × 20.3cm (10.25 × 8").

Is it suitable for aggressive chewers?

This is a plush and rope dog toy rather than an indestructible chew toy. It is best suited to supervised play and dogs that do not rapidly destroy soft toys. For determined power chewers, a durable KONG rubber toy may be more appropriate.

Is this a Christmas-only design?

Yes. This is part of the KONG Holiday collection, with the blue hippo wearing a festive Christmas scarf.
