KONG Holiday Refillables Catnip Cat Toy – Christmas Mouse or Reindeer

Make Christmas playtime even more exciting with the KONG Holiday Refillables Catnip Cat Toy, a festive plush cat toy featuring a refillable catnip pouch and a separate vial of KONG Premium North American Catnip.

Available in two adorable Christmas characters – Christmas Tree Mouse and Reindeer – these soft, lightweight toys are designed to encourage your cat's natural hunting instincts through batting, pouncing, grabbing, wrestling and kicking.

Unlike ordinary catnip toys, the KONG Holiday Refillables range allows you to replace the catnip whenever its scent begins to fade. Simply open the refillable pouch, add fresh catnip and securely close it to keep your cat interested in their favourite festive toy.

The soft plush exterior makes these characters suitable for cuddling between play sessions, while their compact shape is easy for cats to grab and carry.

Choose Your Christmas Character

Christmas Tree Mouse

The KONG Holiday Refillables Christmas Tree Mouse features a cheerful brown mouse dressed as a green Christmas tree, complete with colourful Christmas lights and a bright yellow star.

Its rounded body, large ears and playful expression make it an adorable addition to your cat's Christmas toy collection.

Christmas Reindeer

The KONG Holiday Refillables Reindeer features a brown plush reindeer with soft antlers, oversized ears, a red nose and a friendly embroidered face.

Its compact, rounded shape makes it easy for cats to grab with their front paws, wrestle and kick during play.

Both characters feature the same refillable catnip design.

Refillable Catnip for Longer-Lasting Play

One of the biggest advantages of KONG Holiday Refillables toys is their reusable catnip pouch.

Catnip toys can become less interesting to cats as the scent gradually fades. Instead of replacing the entire toy, simply refresh the catnip to encourage another play session.

How to refill your KONG Holiday Catnip Toy:

1. Locate the refillable pouch on the back of the toy.
2. Open the pouch carefully.
3. Add a small amount of KONG Premium North American Catnip.
4. Close the pouch securely.
5. Offer the toy to your cat for supervised play.

The included vial provides catnip for the initial filling and subsequent refills, depending on how much you use.

Storage tip: Keep the remaining catnip tightly sealed in its vial and store it in the freezer to help preserve its aroma.

Encourages Natural Hunting Behaviour

Cats are natural hunters, and even indoor cats benefit from opportunities to practise instinctive behaviours.

The KONG Holiday Refillables toys are designed to encourage activities such as:

• Batting: Swiping at the toy with their front paws
• Pouncing: Jumping onto the toy during play
• Wrestling: Grabbing and rolling with the toy
• Bunny kicking: Holding the toy while kicking with their back legs
• Carrying: Picking up and moving their toy
• Scent exploration: Investigating the catnip aroma

These activities provide physical activity and mental stimulation, making the toys a useful addition to your cat's enrichment routine.

What Makes KONG Premium North American Catnip Special?

KONG Premium North American Catnip is included to encourage playful behaviour in cats that respond to catnip.

Some cats become more energetic, rolling, rubbing, batting or wrestling with their toys. Others may become relaxed after a short period of excitement.

Catnip sensitivity is inherited, so not every cat will respond. Very young kittens may also show little or no reaction.

The toy remains suitable for ordinary batting and wrestling play even if your cat does not respond to catnip.

Size Guide

Measurements are approximate. Both designs are compact toys intended for cats.
