Two Festive Toys for Different Play Experiences

Christmas Penguin Cat Toy

The KONG Holiday Scrattles Penguin features a cheerful black-and-white penguin with an orange beak, yellow feet and a festive red-and-white scarf.

Its compact, lightweight shape makes it easy for cats to pick up, bat around the room and capture during play.

Approximate dimensions:

• Height: 10.1cm (4")
• Width: 5cm (2")

Blue Snowflake Cat Toy

The accompanying snowflake features a soft, light-blue plush exterior with a large embroidered white snowflake.

Its broad, flat shape offers a different texture and play experience, making it ideal for batting, grabbing and carrying.

The two designs provide variety within the same festive toy set.

Rattling Sounds Encourage Natural Hunting Instincts

Cats are naturally attracted to movement and interesting sounds.

The KONG Holiday Scrattles toys feature rattling elements that create noise during play, helping to encourage curiosity and interaction.

As your cat bats or moves the toys, the sounds can encourage further chasing and pouncing.

This makes the set particularly useful for cats who enjoy toys that provide an immediate response when touched.

KONG Premium North American Catnip

The toys contain KONG Premium North American Catnip, which can encourage playful behaviour in cats that respond to its scent.

Cats may react by rubbing, rolling, batting, grabbing or becoming more energetic during play.

Catnip sensitivity varies between individual cats, and some cats may not respond at all. Young kittens may also show little interest in catnip until they are older.

Even without a catnip response, the lightweight construction and rattling sounds provide additional opportunities for play.

Lightweight Toys for Batting, Chasing and Capturing

The compact design makes these toys suitable for everyday indoor play.

Encourage your cat to explore them by placing the toys nearby or gently moving one across the floor.

The combination of movement, sound and texture provides opportunities for:

• Batting: Swatting the toys with their paws
• Chasing: Following the toys as they move
• Pouncing: Jumping onto the toys
• Grabbing: Capturing and holding the toys
• Carrying: Picking up and moving the toys
• Interactive play: Encouraging movement with gentle throws or slides

Rotating toys regularly can help maintain your cat's interest and keep play sessions varied.
