KONG Holiday Shakers Luvz Reindeer 14.5" – Christmas Dog Toy

Bring some extra shaking, tugging and fetching fun to Christmas with the KONG Holiday Shakers Luvz Reindeer, an extra-long festive plush dog toy designed especially for dogs that love to grab their toys and give them a vigorous shake.

The Reindeer's long, floppy body helps satisfy natural shaking and thrashing instincts while also providing an easy shape for dogs to grab, carry and retrieve. At approximately 14.5 inches (36.8cm) long, there's plenty of toy to get hold of during interactive games of fetch and tug.

Inside is a low-tone squeaker, producing an enticing sound that helps keep dogs interested without relying on the typical high-pitched squeak found in many dog toys. The festive reindeer design features bright red antlers and paws together with a colourful Christmas argyle and snowflake patterned body.

When playtime is over, its soft plush construction also makes it a cuddly seasonal companion.

The elongated shape gives dogs plenty of room to grab the toy around the middle, head or body and makes it particularly satisfying to shake.

Made for Shaking

Some dogs instinctively grab soft toys and shake them from side to side. The KONG Shakers range is designed with this type of play in mind.

The extra-long, flexible body exaggerates the movement as your dog shakes the toy, helping make play more stimulating and rewarding.

Its elongated design also works well for interactive games, making the toy easy to throw for fetch or hold during supervised tugging sessions.

Low-Tone Squeaker

Rather than relying solely on a conventional high-pitched squeak, the Holiday Shakers Luvz Reindeer features a low-tone squeaker to provide another interesting sound during play.

The squeaker rewards biting and grabbing and can help encourage dogs to return to the toy for another game.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the KONG Holiday Shakers Luvz Reindeer?

It measures approximately 14.5 inches (36.8cm) long.

Does it squeak?

Yes. The toy contains a low-tone squeaker designed to encourage longer and more engaging play sessions.

Is it good for dogs that shake their toys?

Yes. This is one of the main purposes of the Shakers design. Its long, floppy body moves dramatically when shaken and helps satisfy natural shaking and thrashing behaviour.

Can it be used for fetch?

Yes. Its elongated, lightweight design makes it easy to throw, grab and retrieve during interactive games.

Can I use it for tug?

The long body provides convenient grabbing points for light, supervised tugging. However, it isn't intended to replace a heavy-duty rope or rubber tug toy.

Is it suitable for strong chewers?

The KONG Holiday Shakers Luvz Reindeer is a plush interactive toy rather than a durable chew toy. Dogs that destroy soft toys quickly should be closely supervised and may be better suited to KONG's rubber toys.
