FAQs

Does my guinea pig need anything else alongside this food? Yes, Mr Johnson's Supreme Guinea Pig Mix is a complementary feed. It is essential that your guinea pig also has unlimited access to good quality hay (which is a vital source of fibre), a small daily amount of fresh greens, and fresh, clean water at all times.

Why is Vitamin C included in this mix? Unlike many other animals, guinea pigs cannot naturally produce their own Vitamin C. Therefore, they require a daily dietary source to prevent serious health issues, which is why this Supreme mix is specially fortified with it.

Will this food help keep my guinea pig's teeth healthy? Absolutely! The fibrous nature of the food and the wide variety of textures (including pellets, extrusions, and flaked ingredients) encourage chewing, which aids in the essential natural wear of their continuously growing teeth.
