Utilising a small entrance to the feed hopper, this feeder will only fit the smaller, colourful birds, such as finches and blue tits, preventing larger birds like pigeons from eating all of the food you leave out.

This feeder is suitable for most wild bird seed mixes, including Peckish Natural Balance Seed Mix and Peckish Complete Seed & Nut Mix.

Our Tips for Attracting More Birds to Your Garden:

• Hang your feeder on a tree or Wild Bird Feeding Station, positioned around 2m from the closest area of shrub or bush cover. This ensures that your feeders are visible as birds fly by, whilst still offering a safe area for birds to retreat to if a predator arrives.
• Feed birds on a year round basis, refilling feeders consistently at the same time of day - ideally early morning, when birds are looking to replace energy lost through the night. This allows local birds to see your garden as a reliable source of food and increases the chances of them becoming repeat visitors. Feeding throughout the year also protects local birds from the impact of temporary food shortages, which can occur during any season.
• Protect your local birds by reducing the chances of diseases being spread between different birds visiting your feeder. Ensure that all food is fresh and dry, discarding wet food on a daily basis, as wet bird food can harbour harmful bacteria. We recommend cleaning your feeders and any other area of your garden where birds may congregate regularly, using a Bird Safe Disinfectant.
• Consider providing fresh, clean drinking water alongside your feeders, either using a Wild Bird Water Drinker or a Bird Bath. An extra source of safe drinking water is a valuable resource for birds throughout the year, but particularly through the summer and winter months, when other sources of water can become inaccessible very suddenly, due to freezing over or drying up.
