About Pedigree Dentastix Daily Oral Care Dental Treat (Medium)
The unique X shape, active ingredients and gently abrasive texture of each Pedigree Dentastix Dog Treat is scientifically proven to help reduce tartar build up by up to 80%.
Low in fat, sugar free, containing no artificial colours or flavours and great tasting, Dentastix are suitable for dogs from 4 months of age.
With 4 out of 5 dogs over the age of 3 years suffering from gum disease, providing a daily chew for your dog as part of a dental health and hygiene routine can greatly reduce the build-up of plaque and tartar in the mouth, and the risk of gum disease.
Two of the active ingredients in Pedigree Dentastix are Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) and Zinc Sulphate, both of which work to capture the calcium available in the dog's mouth to slow down the build=up of tartar. Calculus grows when new calcium containing crystals form and zinc slows this crystal growth.
Medium Dentastix are suitable for dogs weighing between 10kg and 25kg.
