How Does the PetSafe Bark Collar Work?

When your dog barks, the collar detects both the sound and vibration of the bark before delivering a low-level static stimulation. If barking continues, the stimulation gradually increases through 15 progressive levels until the barking stops.

As your dog learns quieter behaviour, the collar automatically reduces the correction level, helping to maintain effectiveness while using the lowest necessary stimulation.

A built-in safety system automatically pauses the collar for 3 minutes if more than 15 barks occur within an 80-second period.
