Frequently Asked Questions

Are these treats safe for chinchillas and degus?
Yes, Rosewood lists both chinchillas and degus as suitable species. However, because these animals have sensitive digestive systems and strict dietary requirements regarding natural sugars, treats containing fruit and root vegetables (like the apple and carrot in this duo) should be offered strictly in moderation. We recommend adding and removing the treats from their cage to control portion sizes.

Are there any artificial colours or flavours?
No. Both the Snowman and the Teddy are made using completely natural ingredients, with natural flavours and colours derived from real vegetables and grasses.

What is the difference between the two treats?
The Snowman is crafted primarily from Timothy hay, barley grass, and a touch of apple, while the Teddy features a different texture and flavour profile based around oat bran, wheat plant, and dried pumpkin!
