About Trixie Rawhide Chicken Chewing Rolls
Trixie Rawhide Chew Rolls are a great value treat for promoting good oral health and hygiene in dogs who love to chew, with a meaty chicken coating for extra temptation.
While cleaning the teeth and helping to freshen the breath, each chew will provide entertainment and enrichment. The chews are gluten free and contain no added sugar.
Each treat is approximately 12cm long and the pack contains 6 chews.
When choosing suitable treats for your pet to chew, consider the size of the treats in relation to your dog. Larger dogs should not be given small chews which may be gulped or swallowed whole. Separating your dog from other pets when chewing on rawhide treats will reduce the risk of gulping large pieces, especially if your dog is protective of their treats. Remove chews from your pet once they are small enough to be swallowed. If your dog has a history of issues with rawhide treats including digestive upset or swallowing large chunks, consider alternatives to allow your dog to satisfy their chewing instinct, such as a stuffed Kong Classic toy, a Natural Antler Chew, a Yakers Bar or a Bull Pizzle. Chewing is a natural behaviour for all canines, and should be channelled appropriately rather than discouraged or punished. Allowing your dog to chew on appropriate items will help to relieve boredom and destructive behaviour, and can help nervous dogs or those with separation anxiety.
It is advised to only allow your dog to chew natural products on stain resistant surfaces.
